Benefits of Joining

Benefits of joining an organization are not just limited to extra credit, but the ability to distinguish yourself when applying for jobs, awards or even being able to wear that extra stole and/or cord at graduation. Many job recruiters were also in the same organizations and it never hurts to have positive experiences in common with them. Students in these organizations can pride themselves in doing something bigger than only keeping their noses in the books.

How to Join

Each society has its own rules and regulations for joining. Some organizations require certain academic qualifications, the applicant to be in at least his/her junior year, etc. Some of the organizations also require a pledge semester where the pledge is required to complete given tasks before being initiated into the organization. Visit the links above for the specifics on joining the desired organization and their requirements. Remember that it is never too late or too early to enquire about joining. All the organizations are centered around self improvement and helping others, but the main goal is to have fun!
